Training & Supervision

Clinical training in mental health assessment and intervention is a lifelong process. Accordingly, FamilyPsycle® provides advanced instruction, training opportunities, and supervision to mental health professionals across disciplines. Psychological assessment and intervention (i.e., psychotherapy, family therarpy) for children, youth, young adults, and families is our specialty.

Our organization has experience providing clinical training to a variety of allied mental health professionals and educators, including clinical and counselling psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, social service workers, marriage and family therapists, child and youth workers, early childhood educators, nurse practitioners, and medical residents. Advanced topics of instruction include psychological assessment, psychoeducational assessment, various evidence-based modalities of psychotherapy (e.g., cognitive behaviour therapy, child-parent psychotherapy), and family therayp (e.g., structural family therapy, emotion-focused family therapy). Supervision may also involve practicum placement and qualifying for registration with professional practice organizations (College of Psychologists, College of Psychotherapists, etc.)
